Sahi Paneer, also known as Shahi Paneer, is a

 rich and creamy North Indian dish made with

 paneer (Indian cottage cheese), a variety of

 spices, cream, and tomato-based gravy. Here's a

 simple recipe for making Shahi Paneer at home:


Ingredients:

- 250 grams paneer (cut into cubes)

- 2 medium-sized onions (finely chopped)

- 2 medium-sized tomatoes (finely chopped)

- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

- 1/2 cup fresh cream

- 2-3 green chilies (finely chopped)

- 2-3 tablespoons oil or ghee

- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

- Salt to taste

- Coriander leaves for garnishing


Instructions:


1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let it splutter for a few seconds.


2. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.


3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for a minute until the raw smell goes away.


4. Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.


5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well.


6. Cook for a minute and then add fresh cream. Mix well.


7. Add paneer cubes and salt. Mix well, making sure that the paneer is coated with the gravy.


8. Cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.


9. Add chopped coriander leaves for garnishing and turn off the flame.


Your delicious Shahi Paneer is ready to serve. Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice. Enjoy!
